AShleah Camille
I have always been magical.
Growing up, I just didn’t have the language or guidance to support my spiritual experiences as a child. As a “little”, I practiced dream work, energy healing, aura reading, and manifesting without knowing what it was called and without realizing I was tapping in to my inner power. All I knew was that my world blossomed to the command of my voice. Sadly, as is the truth for many of us, I learned to stop listening.
Life went on until, one day, I was playing around and called in my ancestors to help me season some food I was preparing… it was not a joke. My ancestors came through LOUD and so did my awareness of my extrasensory gifts. In order to support my new levels of perception, I sought education and training in various metaphysical subjects including tarot, the akashic records, astrology, and energy healing.
Come to find out, I am claircognizant (“clear knowing”), clairsentient (“clear feeling”), and clairvoyant (“‘clear seeing”). All that means is “I be knowing”. I consider myself to be a channel and diviner, using the title Luminary. I have honed my gifts with great intention and can use them to access insight & clarity for others.
I’ve combined what I’ve learned of the heavens with the practical experience I’ve gained as a social worker, early childhood development specialist, sexual health educator & advocate, and mom. I prioritize the principles of choice, pleasure, & self-inquiry. My flair is so Saint Louis, the flavorings of Country Grammar. My perspective is informed by the collective wisdom of queer Black folks whose magic runs through my veins.
I have had the great privilege of being held in the tutelage of masterful mentors. With immense gratitude I acknowledge the teaching, training, and guidance of Jynnette Lewis, Timil Jones, Sanyu Estelle, Kaitlyn Graña, Sam Reynolds, Angie Franklin, Heather Corinna, Kafi London, Arrica Gilmore, and my Spirit Team.
